Orientation and Support raising

As I write this e-mail the Panama team is 'bubbling'. Let me explain a bit....

We have been at orientation at a retreat centre near Guelph Ontario. During this time we have been disconnected from the wolrd as we prepare to head out. This morning we received a message from head office thate two of our members, Tricia and Jon (I will introduce the team in another post) were not gong to be allowed to get on the plane as they were not yet at 80% of their support raised. Although this was a bit of a blow we prayed about it and began mobilizing. While some prayed others began phoning contacts. Jon was $2,000 short of 80% and Tricia was $8,000 short. To cut a long story short, in the period of 7 hours news came in the Jon was at sufficient support to go and God brought in $9,000 of support for Tricia....so we are all heading off on a plane together on Friday!!!

It was pretty awesome to see God move in what can only be described as a miraculous way, both in the way he moved people's hearts to give, calmed our hearts and provided the funds.

Although we are now all boarding a plane, some of the team (Jon, Tricia and Sarah) is still short (only at 80%) of their full support. So please please pray as in the next few days we try to all finish off our support raising in order that we can focus fully on the ministry while down there.
