Vision

This past week Mike Woodard and Dorrie Block (staff from Canada who will be leading the Summer project) came down on a vision trip...essentially to check out Panama and the ministries so they can better plan the project. We had a great time meeting up with Panamanians as well as traveling up and down the country to meet and see the different ministries. It was a great experience spending a week with both Mike and Dorrie as they have such experience, wisdom and love of the Lord.

Something that has been growing on my mind more recently is 'What's next?' For the first time today I counted the days until I am back in Canada and in 140 days I will be done my debrief in Toronto and back in Canada 'for good'. On one had that is a long time. A long time to focus on the ministry in Panama, to see God work, to finish off the race I have started here. But on the other hand, I have more of a sense that it is time to start acting on some of the 'daydreams' I have about my return to Canada. I'm sure the fact that Mike challenged me to join staff this week has spurred on some of this thinking, but really it has been something on my heart recently. So please just keep on praying for my future. Although as I learned in a team devotional this morning really all I need to keep doing is hoping and trusting in God.
