Hola, mi nombre es Esteban....

Exciting times were had on the Universidad de Panama national campus yesterday. As our team is now on campus I was able to go out sharing (the term we use for when we head out on campus to talk to random (or divinely appointed) students, with the ultimate goal of sharing the gospel with them). My teamate Jessica and I headed out and approached a student, Joel, and began talking.....IN SPANISH. For the next 40 minutes Joel and I talked about his studies, canadians he met at a Salsa bar, the Gospel, Jesus, Heaven and Hell. Although Joel heard the gospel he wasn't ready to accept...

Now although sharing the gospel in and of itself is exciting enough, a thrilling part for me was the fact that I was able to communicate all of this in Spanish. Now don't get too excited, my spanish isn't anything remotely close to fluent, but it was really encouraging for me to see how much it has progressed.

In other news, I am fully moved in to my apartment, pictures will be posted shortly.....

As far as our visa situation please continue to pray. On my part, it looks like I have all the necessary documents, it is now a matter of getting them properly notorized, translated etc... However a couple of my teamates are still missing their Criminal Record Check. Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray.
