Retreat...oh yeah and PRAY

Well things here in Panama have been continuing on at their normal frantic pace the past few days. Friday saw us finally get the keys for the girls apartment, which meant Jon and I could move into ours...however we had to wait a couple days to sleep there as we spent the weekend out in the mountains on a retreat with 15 students who are already involved with the movement down here in Panama. It was a great couple of days to get to know the students better as well as some intensive training on how to share the gospel and how to prepare your personal testimony. It was a great time to refocus on the reason we are down here, spend some quality time together and really get a boost as we head out on to campus full time

Listening on how to preapre your personal testimony.

A BIG BIG BIG prayer request that we have right now is getting hold of our visas so we can stay here for the year. Before coming here, we enquired as to what documents etc... we would need to get a year long visa. The Panamanian embassy in Canada unfortunately didn't provide us with a complete list. At the moment we will need to get a criminal record check done (which can only be given in person) for our Visa, so we need to figure out a way around/through this. WE know God wants us down here and that He will work something out...but He also wants us to pray. So pray for wisdom in finding the best solution, favour in the eyes of the Panamanian authorities and that we can stay here.
