4 names written down....2 will last

So first things first I guess....its now official, the fish have names...

Fish Juan and Fish Too.

Thanks Mark for the original submission and all those who agreed.

So those two names have been written down....yesterday afternoon I saw two more names written in the Lamb's book of life.

I was meeting up with Diego, a student from my Thursday Bible Study, to go out and share our faith on campus. As we were waiting for Cesar (another from the Bible study) to show up two of Diego's classmates sat beside us. When Cesar didn't show up I asked Diego if he was ready to go out sharing. Looking at me, Diego pointed at the two girls beside him and said 'Why not them?'. My usual response would have been 'We generally like guys to share with guys, girls with girls' (Through experience it works best this way...) But at that moment the Holy Spirit convicted me and we began talking with them. As we talked, I asked them if they believed it was possible to have a personal relationship with God. Andrea (one of the girls) replied 'Yes, but I don't know how.' At this point we began sharing with them God's plan of Salvation, and how through Jesus one can begin to have that relationship with God. After sharing the Gospel we asked them if they wanted to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and begin to have that personal relationship with God. Each girl in turn though about it and then said yes and prayed to received Christ.

I think this conversation reflects where alot of the students are at. They know its possible to know God, they know lots about Him...yet they are missing that all important step of begining a personal relationship with Him, inviting Him into their lives as Lord and Saviour.

So pray for Andrea Espinosa and Natalie Cruz as next week we have a follow up appointment.
