Panama often identifies itself as 'The land between two oceans' This past weekend our team, accompanied by Brent and Celeste headed off for a long weekend to Isla Grande - an Island just off shore on the Caribean coast. The weekend was spent doing team building exercises, training.....but who am I kidding. We had an awesome weekend to kick back and relax and enjoy God's creation and a bit of down time.
On Saturday we took a boat tour, through mangrove forests and then onto a private island. It was just us and the man who 'manages' it. (Tells you to pay a couple bucks) It was BEAUTIFUL. The whole time I imagined I was a pirate as they used to occupy these areas.

We're now back in Panama city. Brent and Celeste are still here for a couple more days. So between having them and campus ministry its back to being busy...but I'm truly refreshed. It's been a true blessing having them with us and they have passed on so much wisdom, encouragement and even an early Christmas.
