Interamericana, Leaders and Jesus

Well I have a lot to update you on...alot has happened in the past week

First of all my time is now going to be divided between two universities, Universidad de Panama and now I am going to begin working on Interamericana. Interamericana is a private University located right beside the national uni. 3 weeks ago two of my teamates, Sarah and Tricia, started Vida Estudiantil over there. However they were lacking a male presence and from now on I will be spending 1 1/2 days a week working on that campus with the males. I started last week by sitting down and phoning through a list of contacts of people who were interested in hearing more about Vida Estudiantil.

Phoning Students at Interamericana

Also going on last week, Leadership Impact Group (https://www.leaderimpactgroup.com) were in town to reach out to the business leaders of Panama. On Monday a couple of us Stinters were able to teach them some basic Spanish. Later in the week, Vicktor, Tyler and Karissa (3 of the younger people from the group) came out to the universities to deliver talks on Business leadership. At Vicktor's talk at the national university 15 people indicated the had prayed to receive Christ...please pray as we try to follow up this week.

And finally Jesus....as in my new roomate. This Sunday Jesus Maria Marin, the younger brother of Oliver, one of the staff members with Vida Estudiantil, moved in with Jon and I. I'm looking forward to having our new roomate.

Until next time....ciao
