A new look

Dear blog

Well as you can tell, the blog has a bit of a new look. The most important change is a little to your right ---> where I've added a 'coming up this week' list. I'll be updating this weekly so you guys can know what to pray for.

Life has been going well. As many of you know this past week was a bit of a milestone as I hit the big 2 two-five on Thursday. To be honest with you all, I went through a bit of a roller coaster the past couple weeks as I began to think of life, love and what I'm doing next year!! After spending a few days struggling with this alone and letting it bog me down and turn into worry I took my anxious thoughts to God and funny enough, He took them away.

One night especially I was praying and felt led to ready Song of Solomon...not exactly what I was hoping for, but went ahead and read. What God showed me was the big picture of this couple falling in love and being together. However in chapter 5, the bride (me) hears her bridegroom (Jesus) calling at her door but when she goes to find Him, He's not there. This is how I had been feeling lately, I can hear God's call, but when I go to look I can't see where He is. The book continues with her getting the others to help her look for her bridegroom and in the end they are together again. So that's where I stand now...want to help me in my search? Send me an e-mail steve.scott1983@hotmail.com

So as I move on into a new year in my life I am excited for what is going to happen this year. In a way, the past few days its become even more exciting as I don't know where I will be but God does and He is going to reveal it to me in His time.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Man that's an encouraging verse.

Oh here's a couple of pictures for your viewing pleasure...
