Retiro

Dear Blog

Its been a while since I wrote. After spending a great (and pretty busy) ten days with my parents life is returning to 'normal'. This weekend we had a Student Retreat here in Panama to launch off the new school year that starts this Monday. 23 of us packed up and headed to Chilibre for 2 days of training and hanging out.

The purpose of the retreat was two-fold, to give training to the students as well as the vision of Vida Estudiantil and how they can reach their campus. At the end of the retreat each student was given a T-shirt and a challenge to step out for their campus.

Racataca boys...showing off our new green colours. (I'm assuming that makes us enviromentaly friendly)

This next week coming up is going to be busy. The National University starts up again (its like our September). Among all the students coming out with be thousands of first years stepping into the University for the first time, many of them looking for a place to fit in. Pray that we will be able to reach out to all these students. Among all this I will continue to be working across the street at Interamericana.

So my request is that you please pray for this week that we would be able to meet and connect with as many students as possible. That all the planned events would work out (we plan on setting up tables as well as having a Concert on the Thursday).

I'll let you know how it goes...
